Day 01: Arrival Yangon transfer and sightseeing
Arrive on Morning. Welcome by the guide on arrival at Yangon international airport and start the city tour of Yangon. Highlights of Yangon city tour include old colonial part of downtown, Chaukhtatgyi Temple which houses the biggest reclining Buddha image in Southeast Asia, and visit kandawgyi Park and the day ends with a visit to the most famous Shwedagon Pagoda at sunset which will overwhelm the heart and soul of all visitors.

Day 02: Yangon /Bagan (flight) airport tranfers, Bagan sightseeing
Early morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Bagan.
The Bagan archaeological zone is one of the richest historical sites in Asia and the main tourist attraction in Myanmar. Bagan is considered by archaeologists, historians and photographers alike as one of Asia’s holiest cities along with Varanasi in India and Angkor Wat in Cambodia as it displays the greatest collection of Buddhist sculptures, lavishly decorated monuments: temples and pagodas with mural paintings and plaster carvings from the 11th to 13th centuries. During its Golden Age in the 12th century, Bagan was known as “the City of Four Million Pagodas”. While Kublai Khan and several massive earthquakes have reduced that number drastically, what remains is quite incredible.
Over the next days, we will visit several small villages, the museum and the principal pagodas including: Shwezigon Pagoda, the first monument built in pure Myanmar style, a prototype for later pagodas, it is one of the oldest and loveliest temples and remains an important place of devotion for the Burmese; Ananda Temple, a masterpiece of the early style temple architecture. Built in 1066, the gilded and whitewashed Ananda is among the most elegant temples, with delicate decorations in glazed tiles along its base and terraces; Gubyaukgyi Temple, strongly influenced by the Indian culture; Shwesandaw pagoda, which displays a clear affinity with the Mon civilization with a steep stairway directed to the terraces and a superb view from the upper level.

Day 03: Bagan –Popa-Bagan
This morning after breakfast, visit Nyaung Oo Market, then proceed to Mt. Popa which is around 42 Km south of Bagan and will take al ittle over an hour drive. On the way you can visit the small villages and the palm sugar making places. It is the extinct volcano and 2480 feet tall, home for the famous 37 spirits of Myanamar. If you are very sportive you can climb up to the top which has 777 steps for the panoramic view of the area. In the afternoon you will drive back to Bagan.
If you still have the energy , you can continue the sightseeing in Bagan to explore more ruins from the 11th to 13th century.

Day 4: Bagan /Yangon(Flight) , Yangon/Sittwe (Flight)Airport Transfer –Mrauk U
This morning after breakfast at the hotel , transferred to Nyaung U Aiport for the flight back to Yangon. Since there is no regular flight from Bagan to Sittwe, fly back to Yangon. Then fly to Sittwe the capital city of Rakhaine State. Upon arrival at the airport in Sittwe, will be met and drive to by the local guide from SOC Travel to Mrauk U by car. The total driving time to Mrauk U from Sittwe will take about 3 and half hour (148km).It is very wonderful to visit Rakhine Traditional Longyi weaving center on the way to Mrauk U. In evening arrive at Mrauk U and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay in Mrauk-U.

Day 5: Mrauk-U sightseeing by car
After breakfast at the hotel, morning visit Mrauk-U local market to see ways of life and proceed to Sek Kya Manaung pagoda, Pesi pagoda with 5 stone Buddha images on the hillock since Lay Mro period, then the 16th century temple of Koethaung temple known as 90000
Buddha images temple, walk through Alay Zee village to discover the traditional hats, mats, baskets, fans making as home industries, Leksekan Lake with city wall & gate, drinking water supplying lake for dwellers and Sandamuni Bronze Casting Buddha Image & monastery likes small collecting museum. Then lunch break and take a rest at your hotel.
After Lunch walk through the maze like the Shithaung temple, known as 80000 Buddha images enshrined, built in 1535 with sand stone, looks like fortress with interior tunnel and stone carving relief, the adjacent Andaw Thein temple and proceed to Htukan Thein Temple & Lay Myat Hnar ( Four sided Temple ). Enjoy the sunset from a small hill near Radanabon Pagoda/Discovery Hill where one can see the very wonderful sunset and back to your hotel.

Day 6: Mrauk U – Chin village – Mrauk U
After breakfast at hotel, morning depart for Poe Phyu Kyun village and jetty by car about 30 minutes and then 2:00 hours sailing up by boat along very fantastic scenery up stream Lay Myo river to Pann Paung village. Visit around the village to discover very wonderful Chin ladies with tattooed faces with very beautiful exciting scorpion web Tattooed pattern and their simple ways of life.
After lunch proceed to Kun Chaung village to discover some more Chin Tattooed ladies and there you will see an amazing beauty of river sense from the village. Then return back along downstream 2:00 hours to Poe Phyu Kyun village and drive back to your hotel. (The name of Chin villages along Lay Myo River are Krit Chaung village, Sin Swe Gyo village, Pann Paung village, Cho May village, Kun Chaung village, Kyi Chaung village, Sinke village etc.)

Day 7: Mrauk U-Sittwe/Yangon (By car 3and half hour and by flight)
This morning, check out from hotel & drive to Sittwe via Mahamuni lord Buddha image and proceed to Thaelagiri hill where one can see panoramic view over Kalandan river and Kisspanadi bridge.
It is very nice to take a walk up along the road to the peak of the hill and along the way you could meet some monkeys. That is hill lock is believed that Buddha stopped when he journeyed to Dhanyawaddy Kingdom. After that proceed to Sittwe. Upon arrival in Sitwe, if time permit, about visit View Point by the Bay of Bengal and detour Lawkarnanda Pagoda & Satkyamuni Buddha Image on the way to Sittwe domestic airport for the flight back to Yangon.

Day 8: Yangon Yangon Sightseeing – International Departure
This morning, shopping at Bogyoke Market also known as Scott Market (Closed on Mondays and public holidays) where one will find a vast array of antiques, arts and crafts goods, the largest collection of handicrafts from all over Myanmar. This is a wonderful opportunity to pick up some last minute souvenirs. Then, visit the China Town and the Chinese temple. Then, if time permits, can go and see the famous live white elephants of Myanmar.
In the late afterightnoon transfer back to Yangon International Airport for the flight back home.
